Join Elizabeth Lions for this 30 minutes presentation on Mindfulness for the Busy Professional where she'll discuss:
Simply - What is mindfulness?
Simple easy steps you can do daily that create mindfulness
Cultivate self-awareness
Learn how to respond instead of reacting
Change reactivity patterns that are destructive
How a busy person can cultivate mindfulness and still be effective at work
Mindfulness at work is worth learning and practicing. The technique reduces obsessive/negative thinking, decreases stress, boosts working memory & focus, provides less emotional reactivity, and increases cognitive flexibility. In short work relationships become less stressful. Theses benefits were reported in a 2011 practice review for the American Psychological Association.
Elizabeth Lions specializes in teaching mindfulness and meditation to executives. She's coached some of the top leaders out of banking and finance, manufacturing, and healthcare. Each of them was highly talented, driven, and passionate individuals. However, while her clients varied in gender, upbringing, socioeconomic, and status all clients had one common denominator: fears, uncertainties, and anxiety despite the level of success and mastery they had at work.
Elizabeth is just like you - a busy executive - which makes her the ideal teacher.
She is a certified meditation teacher, coach, author, and podcaster. For more about her work, along with a video or two for inspiration, please see LIONSOLOGY.com
