Steph'nie practiced divorce and family law from 1994 until 2012 with Barrie & Jaquiss, PC and later her own firm, Gresham Family Law, PC. in Gresham, Oregon.

Returning to an unconventional approach to law in 2014, she opened her Trusted Advisor company, Hoffman-Barrie and Associates, PC. in the search of providing a way to help people understand the court system and feel empowered and able to make good and knowing decisions in all situations.
